Folded Fish Stuff is a showcase and storefront for all my fibercraft projects, based out of Rock Island, Illinois.

I taught myself how to crochet when I was in college, 20+ years ago. Since then I’ve branched out to knitting (although my skills don’t extend much further than knit/purl stitches and dish cloths) and weaving on pin looms. I enjoy working with anything string-like, be it yarn, thread, or strips of fabric or plastic.

I love the challenge of taking a picture or an idea and making it a crochet reality. I have a special affinity for miniatures and stuffed creatures. I also have a weakness for independent yarn shops I stumble upon while traveling, and over the years I’ve accumulated enough yarn to last me my next three lifetimes – although that never stops me from buying more.

I’ve recently started typing up my patterns. I’m always looking for beta testers, so if you’re a yarn lover, no matter what level, let me know if you’d be interested in trying something out.
